I started work as a trainee reporter on a local weekly newspaper in 1989 and since then have written for local, regional and national publications including The Liverpool Echo, The Liverpool Daily Post, Trinity Mirror regionals, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, Junior, Mother and Baby, Bella, Best, Woman's Own, Woman and Home and The Guardian.
